For the past year, I have lived in AlUla, a small desert Oasis, surrounded by date palms—a core part of life, history, and culture here. They’re in everything, woven into the daily rhythm of this strange place. The palms speak to the land’s culture and history, carrying the memory of countless seasons - people who've been and gone

I’m writing myself a postcard on date palm, a piece of this place to take with me, to carry a part of AlUla back to London. I want to remember the sand, the breeze that makes its way through the trees and the people I have met here.
